FANCY DRESS (Sunday)

In support of Therapeutic Equine Assisted Learning (TEAL)
Competitor Turnout: Fancy dress! No limits on the type or theme of costume – apart from safety considerations for both your entry and others around you. Be creative and have lots of fun but be safe – all decisions on safety are entirely at the judges’ discretion. Kindly be aware, in windy conditions, some outfits or props may become too distracting for others. Horse Tack & Turnout: Any suitable bridle is permitted, and martingales are allowed. Additional Assistance: Competitors can be assisted or led and accompanied by other participants as part of their fancy dress turnout. Class Format & Judging: Class consists of a parade at walk. No trot, canter or individual show is required. Stallions: Not permitted in Fancy Dress class.

Class S35 Open Fancy Dress Put your best imaginative hoof and foot forwards! Open to any type/height/breed of horse or pony and any age rider, handler, assistant, helper and participant. More than one person can accompany the horse/pony e.g. a rider, plus a handler, plus others as part of the turnout – be aware that all persons participating will be judged and therefore should be ‘on theme’ with the entry.
Prize Presentation for Fancy Dress Rosettes awarded to all competitors. 1st-10th placings are awarded championship rosettes, winner and reserve receive a sash.
TEAL will proudly present a special saddlecloth to the winner!
